Workspace
The SteadyEdge workspace is organized around the practical trading loop: monitor the dashboard, edit bots, run backtests, review metrics, and manage account-level settings from the Profile area.
What this is
This overview explains how the user workspace is laid out and which page to open for each common task.
When to use it
Use this page if:
- you are logged in but do not know where to click next
- you want a map of the main dashboard sections
- you want to understand the difference between Dashboard, Bots, Backtest, Analytics, and Profile
Before you start
You should already be signed in. If you are not signed in, return to the public site and complete login first.
Step by step
Step 1: Learn the main navigation
The main sidebar exposes these user-facing sections:
- Dashboard
- Bots
- Backtest
- Analytics
- Profile
Step 2: Use the Dashboard as your operating summary
The Dashboard is the fastest way to see what is happening now:
- bot states and warnings
- trade totals and win rate
- total PnL
- quick actions on bot rows
- ready-bot discovery blocks
Step 3: Use specialized pages for focused work
Open the dedicated workspaces when you need depth:
- Bots for configuration and editing
- Backtest for run history and report pages
- Analytics for performance metrics and the trade log
- Profile for account, billing, exchange accounts, referrals, and security settings
Step 4: Use the top bar for support and quick actions
The top bar includes a direct Help link, a Manage Bots shortcut, language controls, and the current account menu.
Step 5: Remember that key settings are grouped under Profile
Billing, exchange connections, referrals, linked accounts, notifications, and security settings are grouped under Profile , with these tabs:
- profile
- notifications
- billing
- api
- referrals
What you should see
You should be able to answer these questions after reading the workspace layout:
- where to see bot status right now
- where to create or edit a bot
- where to launch or review a backtest
- where to find analytics and the trade log
- where to manage account, billing, and exchange connections
Common mistakes
- looking for billing as a permanent sidebar item instead of using Profile -> Billing
- looking for exchange connections outside Profile -> API
- expecting the Analytics page to show the same thing as the Backtest page
