1. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and comparable browser-based identifiers that remember settings or help services function.

We use these technologies to run the website, keep the authenticated area working, remember the choices you ask us to remember, record your privacy preferences, and, where you allow it, understand how the site is used.

2. How Consent Works

Strictly necessary technologies may be used without optional consent when they are required to deliver the service you requested, such as maintaining your login state or remembering your privacy choice.

Optional preference, analytics, and marketing technologies are turned off by default until you choose to accept them. You can reject optional technologies, accept all available optional technologies, or save a custom selection in the banner.

3. Strictly Necessary Technologies We Currently Use

We currently use browser storage such as steadyedge-cookie-consent in local storage to remember your consent settings.

When you sign in, we currently keep the short-lived access token in browser memory and store the longer-lived refresh token in an HttpOnly cookie so the authenticated area can keep you signed in and rotate your session securely.

Additional strictly necessary technical storage may be used for security, routing, error handling, and core service delivery.

4. Preference Technologies

When you ask us to remember display choices, we currently use first-party cookies such as steadyedge-theme and steadyedge-locale. These cookies are designed to persist for up to 12 months unless you change the setting or clear them earlier.

If you block or clear these items, the site should still load, but it may no longer remember your selected language, theme, or similar convenience settings.

5. Analytics and Third-Party Technologies

If you grant statistics consent, we load Google Analytics and related Google tags to measure traffic and understand which pages or features are used. Google may collect device, browser, IP-based, and interaction data and may set its own identifiers subject to Google policies.

If you grant marketing consent, the same Google tag may also communicate advertising-related consent signals for linked Google Ads use. Where Google Analytics and Google Ads are linked, Google may use advertising cookies or identifiers and may associate activity on this site with signed-in Google data to support audiences, bidding, optimisation, measurement, and conversion reporting, subject to your consent and Google settings.

Google also offers controls such as Ads Settings and My Activity to review or delete relevant data. We do not intentionally run separate Google Ads tags on the public site at the time of this update, and some advertising features remain disabled unless we explicitly enable them later.

6. Duration, Browser Controls, and Updates

Some cookies expire when your browser session ends, while others remain until a fixed expiry date, logout, preference change, or manual deletion. Local storage items generally remain until you clear them or the application overwrites them.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and clear browser storage at any time. Doing so may sign you out or remove saved preferences. We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time and will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date.
