Allowed Entry Time
What it does
This entry filter allows new entries only during the configured local-time window. It uses the actual order-evaluation time, not a candle timestamp.
Settings
- Time zone : an IANA name such as Europe/Kyiv ; default UTC .
- Start time : first allowed minute; default 00:00 .
- End time : last allowed minute; default 23:59 .
- Inside the allowed time : the only operator, because the rule defines when entry is permitted.
Both endpoints are included. If the start is later than the end, the window crosses midnight—for example, 22:00 – 02:00 . Named time zones automatically follow daylight-saving changes.
Important behavior
Use this rule only among entry conditions. An invalid time-zone name or invalid time prevents the rule from passing. Around daylight-saving transitions, confirm the intended local schedule in a backtest that covers the transition date.
