SteadyEdge is easier to start with: new interface, first backtest, guided learning
We updated SteadyEdge so the first steps feel clearer and more connected. A new user can now understand the platform flow faster: shape a strategy idea, check it on historical data, read the result, and only then move toward running a bot.
This is not a single-screen change. The landing page, registration, first backtest, learning area, and backtest history now work together as one guided path.
A cleaner interface that explains the product
The landing page is calmer and more focused. It presents SteadyEdge as one workspace where strategy design, historical checks, execution, and monitoring stay connected.
We also handle public numbers more carefully. If there is not enough real activity to show meaningful platform statistics, the interface does not replace that with decorative figures.
Registration is shorter
The registration window is simpler. Google sign-up is placed first, while email registration remains available right next to it. The first step only asks for an email address and password.
Optional educational emails are now a clear choice. They are not enabled automatically. Service emails, such as email confirmation or a completed report notification, remain part of the platform experience.
The first backtest does not require exchange keys
After email confirmation, a user can start with a historical strategy check. At this point, no connected exchange account and no API keys are required.
This makes it easier to evaluate the idea before moving toward real trading. The user can review the result, drawdown, fees, number of trades, and losing periods first. Connecting a demo or test environment comes after the first result is clear.
Learning now lives inside the dashboard
The dashboard now includes a Learning section. It is a short practical path through the main actions in SteadyEdge: where to find the first backtest, how to read the result, where to connect a test account, how to start or pause a bot, where to monitor metrics, and which risk settings to review before launch.
Each lesson points to the relevant area of the platform. The user can open the screen, view guidance, and mark the step as understood.
Backtest results are easier to compare
The backtest list is now more useful for reviewing ideas. It shows status, period, symbol, trade count, gross and net result, volume, and a quick link to the full report.
This helps users avoid judging a strategy by one attractive number. The whole picture matters: how many trades there were, how the result changed after fees, and whether the strategy behaved consistently across different periods.
Early-user offer
The first 50 verified users receive Basic for 90 days with 0% profit fee during that period. The terms are shown before any payment details are required.
After the limit is reached, new accounts will use the standard trial period.
What changes in practice
The updated path is simpler:
- open the landing page and understand the workflow;
- create an account;
- confirm the email address;
- run the first historical strategy check;
- review the result through guided learning;
- connect a demo or test environment;
- review risk settings before starting a bot.
The goal is to reduce the gap between “I created an account” and “I understand what I am about to run.” SteadyEdge still does not promise trading results, but it now presents the data, limitations, and next safe step more clearly.
Backtests show how a strategy behaved on historical data and do not guarantee future returns. Crypto trading involves significant risk.
